  First and last time going to this place. Had to go to the bar just to place an order and get s refill. After ordering, it was found out that they bring the food from across the street....uncovered and out in the open. I was seriously disgusted not to mention the food was cold since it was 30 degrees out. One of the staff then dropped food on the floor where it stayed for hours until another staff member noticed it. Won't be returning!

  It breaks my heart to leave a one star review because I love their beer and burgers. I am leaving such a bad review because we received such bad service. My fiance and I came in for lunch last Saturday; we each had a burger, 2 beers, and got two growlers filled. We had to go out of our way in order to get any kind of service at all. We were there for a total of about 2.5 hours and sat with empty glasses for the last 30 minutes or so while trying to get the attention of anyone to fill our two growlers and close the tab out. One of the bar tenders was busting her butt while the other walked around with a smug and salty look the entire time. Upon closing out we left a cash tip (I didn't want to leave anything but my fiance threw down some cash), I checked my bank account online this morning and to my surprise they charged an extra $10 to my tab. I am not happy about this and will refuse to buy any products from Aviator, hence forth.

  Use to be my go to place after work for beer and food both of which are excellent. The problem is the constantly changing menu and availability of beers. One of their staple beers (not seasonal) is the Crazy Pilsner Beer - which they proceeded to go many months without.
  
  I also have come to the realize that anytime I find something on the menu I really enjoy it just goes away. They had a barbecue chicken sandwich was literally the best chicken sandwich I have ever had and they removed it from the menu. I would think a chicken sandwich would be a regular 365 days a year item but no.
  
  Maybe if they focused on consistency I would be more inclined to increases my visits. As of now I feel like its a crap shot on what they are going to have on any particular visit. That is basically why my co-workers and I have started to visit Tylers down the road more often.
  
  I'll say this as well ......... the owner seems to be an absentee owner. As many times as I have been in there over the years, taproom, smoke house, bottle shop I have never had anyone introduce themselves as the owner or even manger. Someone mentioned in past post that this place could be a local maybe even statewide ICON but all that is mentioned above will hold them back from becoming all that it could be.

  Such great potential... but, the ownership doesn't invest in its employees so there is constant turnover in employees (I've been a customer for 3 years). It shows in the quality of the product, food and beer, and the service . If this place had better management, it would be an icon in NC...
